The Blues Brothers
After the release of Jake Blues (John Belushi) from prison, he and brother Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) go to visit the orphanage where they were released by nuns. They learned that the church stopped its support and will sell the place unless the tax on the property is paid with 11 days. The brothers decide to raise the money by putting their blues band back together and staging a big gig. They may be on a \"mission from God\" but they\'re making enemies everywhere they go. Featuring performances by some of blues finest, James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and co-starring John Candy, Carrie Fisher, Henry Gibson and Steve Lawrence.Starring: John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, John Candy, Carrie FisherDirected by: John Landis Disc 1Run Time: 2 Hours and 28 MinutesMPAA Rating: Not RatedAudio: Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround (English)Subtitles: English SDH, Spanish, FrenchPicture: Anamorphic Widescreen (1.85:1)ColorBonus:The Stories Behind the Making of The Blues BrothersProduction PhotographsProduction NotesCast and FilmmakersTheatrical TrailerAlso Available In...25th Anniversary Edition DVD (Anamorphic Widescreen)25th Anniversary Edition DVD (Full Frame)Other DVDs with John Belushi:1941, Saturday Night Live: The Complete First Season, Saturday Night Live: The Complete Second Season, National Lampoon\'s Animal HouseOther DVDs with Dan Aykroyd:1941, Blues Brothers 2000, Doctor Detroit, Dragnet (1987), Sneakers, Saturday Night Live: The Complete First Season, Saturday Night Live: The Complete Second Season, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & LarryOther DVDs with John Candy:Brewster\'s MillionsOther DVDs with Carrie Fisher:Amazon Women on the MoonOther DVDs with John Landis:Amazon Women on the Moon, Blues Brothers 2000, Into the Night, National Lampoon\'s Animal House
